Turning birthdays into moments of joy, care, and belonging for children who need it most.

Happy Birthday Cha Cha Cha (HBCCC) partners with schools where 90% or more of students are living below poverty. We provide joyful gifts and everyday essentials for children on their birthdays. We are entirely volunteer-based, inviting youth and community groups to participate in donation drives and gift assembly. Spreading the power of kindness and philanthropy, we make birthdays brighter for thousands of children in need. 

Since its founding, Happy Birthday Cha Cha Cha has grown from serving 129 children in its first year to providing birthday celebrations for thousands of students annually across multiple cities in Western and Central New York.

By recognizing children on a day that might otherwise pass unnoticed, the organization helps remind students that they are seen, valued, and cared for by their community.
